Sorry about taking so long to update. Not much to actually update with, and I'd really like to go eat breakfast so I'm not going to write anything extensive here, the point of this journal is to get some wondeful art up



Some of these were found the old fashioned way and some of them were found in a forum advertising my intention to feature work. You should click on them and see how pretty they are big!

Alrighty. This is a bare bones journal, as there is no feature and no other goodies like that, but I thought I would tell you all about project summerwrite: It's a LJ based project a lot like NaNo, but larger and over a larger period of time.

150,000 words in 4 months, no too bad, right? If any of you are interested in having a supportive group to help you write a novel this summer then head on over to [link] and join us. For the record I didn't make this group. I'm just super excited.

I failed on my spring break mission. Drama at work prevented me from breaking out my camera and taking pictures of the long ears. The only time I used my camera over break at all was to play around with my parent's puppy. A few of those are managing to find their way onto DA now.

Over the break I made a very difficult decision, but one that I think I will appreciate in years to come, even if I am not terribly fond of it now. I've decided that I will not be attending CU next year. I will be attending a school close to home and commuting to classes every day. There are up sides and down sides to this, but at least I'll be able to see Zorro year round now.

I'm going to miss Boulder a lot, and all the friends that I have made here. The scenery and the ability to drive an hour or so and get up to Estes park, the Dogs in Boulder series, and all the other things associated with Boulder. PA has it's own beauty however, once you get away from the buildings. So I'm trading mountains for forest, essentially, although the rocky mountains will always be imprinted on my heart. I'll be living at home again, my parent's dog will become my dog too.



Another feature of stunning artwork that I have found since last time. I haven't had much time for browsing DA so this feature might be a bit smaller than some of the others.

I couldnt be more excited to go on spring break. To add to that excitement I -just- got CS3 today, and I'm excited to learn how to use it. I've been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for... as long as I can remember. If I had to guess I would say 8 years. Fancy real photoshop has just always been out of the budget. I haven't had time to do more than glance at it, but my head is slightly spinning with all the things that I want to try out.

I'm going home for spring break and I swear I will take some pictures of mules. I swear. When I was home for Christmas I was just so happy to see the 'children' that I pretty much spaced on taking their pictures. You have no idea how thrilled I am to go home and see Zorro.



Yay features! This journal I thought I would do a bit of a major feature. First, I'm going to feature some of my wonderful watchers. then I'm going to feature a few amazing artworks I've found since my last update!

First off the amazingly wonderful I have a soft spot for her rubber duckies!



Second on the list I think her photography speaks for itself.



the last on my watcher feature for today is We shoot the same subject alot, but she has the good fortune of being a lot closer, therefore gets to go more! I'm so jealous of all the amazing shots she gets.



Now for work that I've found since the last update

I've been working overtime with school work, and pretty much failing at social relationships. Grades come first, right? right! That's pretty much meant locking myself in my room all weekend and missing out on all the parties. I'm alright with that though, because I'm not really the party type.

to de-stress I've been searching DA for amazing art and yesterday I found an amazing unknown Equine photographer who has a small gallery, but one that is filled with amazing images. so, without further delay I present to you
